The two paragraph answer covered familiar ground: she was a native of Katy, Texas; studied acting in high school; her work in a Hercules movies led to her casting as Gabrielle; and she considered LA her home. The article quoted Simon Lake, the executive director of the Australian Writers' Guild, commenting upon "the absurdity of foreign productions shot in New Zealand, such as 'Hercules: The Legendary Journeys' and 'Xena: Warrior Princess,' being able to qualify as Australian content.".
